Quality Control & Safety Specialist
LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking a qualified self-starter for a full-time, exempt-level Quality Control and Safety Specialist position at the US Coast Guard facility located in Yorktown, VA.
Duties will include but are not limited to the following: conduct OSHA, EPA and company established Quality/Safety standard inspections to ensure compliance. Responsible for accident prevention, inspections, investigations and all associated documentation and reporting. Cooperate with USCG Environmental Engineer, Fire/Safety Officer and Quality Assurance Engineers. Involvement with maintenance personnel for issue of Hot Work Permits, Confined Space Permits and monitoring. Monitors Underground Utility Marking, Maintains Lockout/Tagout Program. Quality Program consists of 100% inspection of all preventative maintenance work, government work order tasks and IDIQ Projects to include subcontractor work.
Qualified candidates have bachelor's degree and 2+ years in implementing and administering both Quality Control and Safety programs. Hands-on experience is necessary. Government contracting experience and/or prior active duty military experience is desirable. Utilizing Federal and State Occupational Safety and Health standards, as well as, established company standards, the Quality/Safety Administrator will be the primary source for ensuring overall compliance.
Fuel Distribution System Operators
LB&B Associates seeks experienced Fuels Operators to support military refueling services at locations in Portsmouth and Norfolk. Position involves operation of bulk storage & distribution systems consisting of pipeline receipts and issues, barge and tanker load & offload, and terminal pipe pumping system. We offer:
